This parental control is BROKEN. It has been for over 10 months. I watch my kids reach a limit, the device tells them they reach a limit, and it also asks them if they would like more time. They click 15 minutes, and they are off. Fix the glaring issue/bug/eyesore. The fact that an apple device and parental controls do not work is so amateur. Not to mention it is just bad knowing what we know about kids and screen time. It works on Microsoft and Android. Why is this so difficult to fix? Why does it take the Wall Street Journal article to expose Apple’s 10 month hiccup. Users should not have to go through all these steps to stop children from skipping through settings. That is Apple’s engineers job and it falls on Cook. Fix it already. We just took the devices away from our kids. If Apple can’t fix this, why not? I have tried every fix posted here. None of them work. It’s a band aid being offered by Apple to heal a severed leg bleeding out.

It’s for everything not just one app. Been broken since last December and you know it. Write a better system in your OS to deal with parental controls. Apple has been sitting at the back of the bus regarding parental controls since day one of the iPhone. It’s getting old how bad it really is.
