had no problems with Siri responding to any of my commends before iOS 17. After iOS 17 I have to repeat all my commands 2 or 3 or 4 times.

I have used the following steps to troubleshoot and I'm still having problems. It made no difference and Siri has taken a major step backwards in terms of it's ability to understand my requests. Any other ideas? I had a couple of conversations with apple advisors and I'm still waiting on an Apple support callback from a senior advisor.
Same thing with iPhone 12 Pro
I installed that fix. 17.1.2 and it still doesn’t work.
Hey gang. Do you have VPN connected? I did because my carrier swears it'll protect me lol.
I've just turned VPN off and Siri works over cellular.

my sound recognition was already off. So this suggestion won’t help. I’m hoping the iOS 17.3 version will do it
