Scrolling lags at times to a distracting degree, especially in apps like Instagram. Even with plenty of battery, etc. Every few frames it’ll look like the text is doubled up. I’m hoping there’s a future software fix to this, I see it’s been an issue before on other ProMotion displays, but between that and the overheating it’s so disappointing that Apple has released such an unrefined product.

i have still see stuttering/jitter in apps like Facebook, X, Instagram, Whatsapp when scrolling. Text appears choppy or doubled. I have a 15 pro max with ios 17.3
Anch'io con il mio 15 pro max aggiornato 17.4.1 presenta spesso lag nelle app, soprattutto in Instagram ed a volte nello scorrimento delle chat. Il dispositivo è stato controllato da remoto e mi e' stato detto che non risulta niente. Comunque se a breve non risolveranno il problema, che a mio parere potrebbe dipendere dalla frequenza a 120 hz, mi rivolgerò ad un centro assistenza Apple, é inaccettabile che un dispositivo premium presenti questi problemi. Mi sto quasi pentendo di aver lasciato Android.

I’m having the same issue , just bought my 15 pro max two days ago.
My base iPhone 13 have scrolling lag since first iOS 17 version too. It’s annoying.
I have a 14 PM and I have this issue since I bought my iphone.. oct 2022 and yea It has not been solved nor adressed. what shame for a premuim product.
