My iPhone is doing crazy things… random screenshots, showing I’m calling one person on my phone and a different person on my car, yesterday I sent someone like 29 texts and like 3 went to somewhere else, and now it shows one person I texted on 2 threads then I looked and it’s one thread.

About 3 years ago my ex stole my phone. Is it possible he put like a virus or spyware or malware?

iPhone 14 Plus, iOS 17

iPhone malware is very rare, persistent malware more so, and malware that can survive several years of iOS upgrades without some sort of continuous and ongoing re-introduction vanishingly rare.

See if a forced-restart clears this.

Also check for firmware updates for your vehicle’s infotainment system.

If that does not resolve this, contact Apple Support, as it seems your iPhone might have a hardware problem.
