FaceTime screen sharing session keeps getting cancelled on Mac.

This is a relatively strange issue, so when I select to share a Window or an app, the screen sharing icon temporarily appears, but then it cancels immediately after. My internet has triple digit speeds and my friend too. SharePlay is turned on. The weird thing is, after rebooting, it works the first faceTime call, but for subsequent calls, it stops working. Help, if anyone has any opinions or troubleshooting advice, I will accept them. Thank you!

Hey Alric3107,

If you haven't yet, make sure you are following the steps and recommendations from the macOS User Guide, Share your screen in FaceTime on Mac - Apple Support.

Since it sounds like you are able to share after you restart, but only the first time, make sure you slick the Screen Sharing icon in the menu bar to stop sharing before you close the FaceTime call.

If you're still unable to initiate that second screen sharing session on the same or subsequent call, please contact Apple Support for more advanced support options. You can connect from the Get Support portal in most countries.
