My ipad fell from about 3ft

My ipad fell from about 3ft when i was holding it, about 20 mins after dropping it i tried to go on some of my apps and it was very glitchy, and i mean very.

so my question is does an ipad get glitchy from dropping it from a little bit of a high distance between your arms up high and the floor, there is no crack or any slices pr scratches or anything. That might be hard to believe, but that is my question if someone could answer it that would be great, or let me know how this happened. I dont know much about ipads after having one for 2 years.
