Why is the find my iphone button gone from my apple watch after the new IOS was installed.
Have to go find my device app, look for my iphone icon, play sound (which takes over a minute to play the sound).
Please bring back the slide up from my apple watch and install the button back.

The find device or find items on the watch finds only my keys. I need it to find my phone. I never asked to upgrade my watch but you did it anyway. If you are going to take features away that your customers use, you are going to have a lot of UNHAPPY ☹️ customers.
"Hey Siri, Find my iPhone"

The previous Control Center swipe-up has moved to a quick press and release of the flat oval side button
Use Control Center on Apple Watch - Apple Support
DO NOT hold the button, as that brings up Emergency services and the power off icon.
Control Center should then show you the iPhone ping icon (find my iPhone), Battery percentage, Flashlight, Water Lock, Airplane mode, Alarm silence, Theater mode, and all the other Control Center services.
An alternate way to get some of the Control Center services is:
"Hey Siri, find my iPhone"
"Hey Siri, Flashlight"
"Hey Siri, Battery"
"Hey Siri, Airplane mode"
Getting the press and release timing just right can be an issue. You can make it more reliable by changing:
Settings -> Accessibility -> Side Button Click Speed
“Side Button Click Speed” can adjust the press and release timing, so you get the Control Center display every time. Adjusting The "Side Button Click Speed" is also useful for Apple Pay’s double press and release. There is “Default” (sub second timing of needed), “Slow” (up to a second between press and release), and “Slowest” (up to 2 seconds between press and release). I like the “Slow” setting.
NOTE: Slow and Slowest settings do not mean you have to wait a full second or 2 seconds between press and release. It just means you do not need to be super fast.
Apple Watch -> Settings -> Accessibility -> AssistiveTouch can be used to access things like:
o Control Center
o Apple Pay
o Emergency Services and the Power Off icon (labeled "Hold Side Button")
o and many other things...

Not a happy camper
Wrong button. You are pressing the Digital Crown (which is the round rotating button that stick out from the case).
You want to flat oval side button just next to the Digital Crown.

Why does Apple change a good thing!?!?! Sad to see how they do this. Sure miss the swiping up to find my iPhone from my watch. I also don’t know why you have to mess with things. I miss being able to flip my watch faces to coordinate with my mood or color of the day.
Tell Apple
Apple will only hear you if you send feedback. If enough users send feedback, it might actually reach a decision maker, and so action be taken.
But if everyone stops with just posting in this user-to-user technical support forum, Apple will never hear you.

Thank you. I do not know why Apple decided to hide without directions many of the old functions that I used almost everyday.

I totally agree. Eliminating the swipe up is frustrating. I will go with a much better non-apple watch with many more features next. The ONLY reason for the Apple version is its ease of use. Horrible tech and less options than a much cheaper watch.

Use this iPhone feature daily. At 77, I can't remember all the time where I 'parked' my phone and saves me steps wondering around the house to find it! I always use to check if cell in my purse when leaving the house...just one of the most handy features ever developed and the two-step process for old hands isn't that easy to do!!! Please return this helpful feature to a swipe-only feature. Thanks!
Easier than using your hands is “Hey Siri, ping my iPhone”
And since Apple is not reading these user-to-user technical support forums for ideas, also send Apple your Feedback

I hate the new side button thing needed now! I pretty much only buy an Apple Watch to find my iPhone! If anyone makes just a little bracelet that can do the same thing I will buy that asap.
Easy solution: "Hey Siri, find my iPhone". No buttons needed, and you find your iPhone.
But if "Hey Siri" is too hard, then Apple does not read this user-to-user technical support forum for feedback.
