Full Screen Not Working On YouTube in Safari

Whenever i try to go full screen in YouTube on Safari, it always tells me that "Full Screen is unavailable. Learn More." I tried refreshing, and that didn't work. The only way I can go full screen is that I refresh and IMMEDIATELY click fullscreen. However, when I exit out, I can't go full screen again. It shows the same message "Full Screen is unavailable. Learn More." This has been happening ever since I downloaded MacOS Sonoma and installed the update. Any suggestions?
