YouTube videos stuttering in full-screen on Safari for Mac

I had an issue where YouTube videos would stutter in full-screen, however if I moved the mouse cursor or kept the playback controls showing, videos would play fine.

Hopefully I can help the Apple community by sharing that the way I resolved it was by turning off Ambient Mode in the YouTube video settings.

Sure I also experienced this problem in the last few weeks. I finally found the answer for that.

Open Safari > go on YouTube> play any video in full screen> at the bottom of the YouTube screen click on the (settings) icon in the YouTube video page. Uncheck the option (Ambiant mode) make sure it's off. It completely fixed my problem
