An Apple Magic mouse has no active laser or other light source that is visible when holding the mouse in your hand. If it becomes erratic, that may be due to low battery charge, or a piece of lint on the optic. I have found in the latter case it can be fixed by a quick puff of air on it.
If it is an Apple Magic Mouse I with battery, I went through three of these in three years — an the Magic Mouse II has been in use ever since.
I charged it ,I did try , still not working,
an off/on slide switch and a cable port for charging, wireless, Apple brand . Yes . The slide switch is on (can see the green side)also is not battery problem, I charged it.
it IS . The slide switch is on. Can see the green side.but the next sensor of movement still no light up

What I've been doing is to use small pieces of Scotch tape to keep the cover shut.
Since the OP is charging the mouse it's safe to assume it doesn't take batteries.
this Apple wireless mouse can take battery too ? I don’t know how .
If it takes batteries it's not an Apple Mouse 2 and would have no charging port.

Servant of Cats is just confusing the issue.
I just tried quick puff air on to it. Maybe I am a girl my air not enough lol~
OK, please describe what you mean by "crystal ball’s light".
I've never heard of any mouse, MM or otherwise, said to have a crustal ball.
EDIT: Ah .... Ok, gotcha. Whew, glad that's cleared up.
No user-accessible batteries, and it looks like there's "power on" light, either.
lol~I am sorry . I think I knew it ,I said the littler crystal ball it call sensor movement…
I will try this way.
if I take it to check , it means I have to bring the whole thing ? The Mac and the keyboard
