Bluetooth issues on my iPhone 15 Pro Max with iOS 17.0.3

When is Apple going to reply to these connection issues with iPhone 15 pro max?

it is extremely frustrating and dangerous as one is scrambling to remain connected while driving

Having exactly the same issue, BT keeps dropping....!!! Never had any issue before iOS 17. Apple, are you listening to us please? Updated to iOS17.2 last night, didn't help...

Updated to 17.2 hoping for the fix. Still not connecting to my car (15Pro).

and Twitter isn’t loading using data.

starting to regret the upgrade. At least 7+ worked…

There is no fix planned and half the apple techs have never heard of the issue. Apple 15 is garbage. $1200 paper weight. I’m back to my 14 with 17.2 and it’s perfect.

No change with the final release of 17.3. Locks up the Bluetooth system unless I cycle Bluetooth on the phone off and on again.

This made me chuckle. Some of my friends are questionable anyway so this could be a new iOS feature 😂

I have brand new hearing aids, and the phone drops out with them, too.

Doesn't work, and besides, who wants their WIFI disabled?

I use mine primarily for my hearing aids and am experiencing exactly the same issue with the BT connection (This never happened in more than three years of using this device on my IP7). I am certain that they are connected properly, no issues with that. When I receive an incoming phone call, it will randomly connect only one HA, another one will have a poor connection. Very often the connection will drop and I can't get them reconnected without rebooting either the HA or the phone, or both. Then I need to call the person back. Hey Apple, you need to get this resolved.

Thank you for your suggestions. I've done all of what you suggested, ha provider has no know issues with this device. As I posted, they worked perfectly until the IP15 upgrade. Have wrestled with this for two weeks and nothing seems to work. Too many intermittent problems with the way they connect and don't connect.

I have exactly the same problem, only with hearing aids, on newly purchased IP15. Never an issue with my iPhone 11. Have posted here and tried everything for three weeks. Yesterday, I spent about an hour on the phone with Apple Support, they downloaded logs and info from my phone. Lets see what happens. You should also call them, they need to know this is happening widely and is not an isolated issue. FYI: Apple Support tel # is 800-275-2273.

What they don’t get is we have to eventually upgrade everything. I’ll just start switching to Google stuff, starting with a new phone. If I switch I’m never coming back. I know I’m not alone here. I want my Bluetooth to work. This is old tech and there is no excuse for this performance.

Definitely get Apple support to raise this higher with their senior team and then it should get to their engineering team. That’s where I am currently and will be speaking to them tomorrow to get them to install diagnostics log app on my iPhone so they can hopefully get to the root of the issue as it is still occurring for me on 17.2. Fingers crossed.

Having had issues with static and dropped BT connections, with my week old iPhone 15 pro max. I contacted Apple support today who logged onto my phone, downloaded some logs. Asked me to wait a few mins then came back and said they were going to replace my phone. No explanation, as such that I could hear ( I have hearing aids and the BT connection was playing up! 😊). So get a new phone tomorrow. Personally very sceptical that that will fix it, but you never know!
