Standby mode on iPhone 15 pro max does not stay on

I recently got a iPhone 15pro max and cannot figure out how to get the standby mode to display the clock all night long. At some point last night I tried turning off all focus modes (do not disturb and sleep) and that might have done it. However if the focus modes aren't on what is going to prevent phone calls, notifications, and texts in the middle of the night. Not to mention my Apple Watch then lights up every time I move my wrist. What am I missing? Would be nice to see the clock without having to touch or move.

A test I made:

If I put my iPhone on the magsafe but the power supply cable plugged into the magsafe charger, it will eventually turn off (randomly)
If I put my iPhone on the magsafe BUT plug the phone directly into the charger cable (use the magsafe only to hold the phone horizontally), it will stay on all night no problem...

Tried 3 different magsafe charger, changed my Apple factory cable to another and also the power supply but test it and see if you have the same results as me.

Hopefully Apple will fix this because as many, if I have to touch my screen after 2-3-5 hours, it wakes me up...

Same thing here. Really sucks. When you are promised a feature, and it doesn’t work… I’m sure Apple will fix this eventually (maybe), but yeah… R.

Oh, it gets worse! There’s no option for 17.0.3 when submitting a report!!

I went ahead and submitted choosing …2, but made a big note that I am on 17.0.3!

Quite frustrating!

In the standby mode, with the phone set horizontally on the Vmag charger stand, the clock display will only show for one minute and then goes black / off. This should display in lower light dim mode all night. The option to have this turn on with the sense of motion is also not working as you have to touch the case or tap the base that will turn on the display, showing this great feature of a night clock.

Please correct this feature to stay on, as this new ISO feature makes older models useful as clock displays around the house and yet they are still connected to all the apps.
