iOS 17: Camera/Photos “smart cutout” no longer works!
iOS 17: Camera/Photos “smart cutout” no longer captures the foreground subject and eliminates the background.
Image still contains a rectangular frame (now with white background).

It sounds like cutouts on the iPhone in the Photos app isn't working. In this case, we'd recommend taking these steps for a solution:
- Ensure you're updated for the latest fixes: Update your iPhone or iPad
- Test cutouts on another photo in the Photos app, following these steps: Create and share photo cutouts on your iPhone
If you continue to have issue, then it would be best to contact Apple Support directly: Get Support
They would need to take it from here.
