How to update my iPhone 7 Plus to iOS 16?

No matter how nicely you ask, your request CANNOT and will NOT be granted. iPhone 7 cannot under any conditions be updated to iOS 16. If you need a higher level iOS version, your ONLY option is to buy a newer, more modern iPhone.

The iPhone 7 Plus can be updated to iOS 15.7.9, no further.

As everyone else has said, iOS 16, nor any newer update will run on the iPhone 7 Plus. The iPad 6th Generation has the same A10 Fusion processor, but can run iPadOS 16 and 17. The iPhone 7 Plus would be more unstable than the iPad 6 because of hardware limitations and feature iOS 16 has that can’t work with iPhone 7. (Note that the iPad 6 got iPadOS 16 with less features than the newer iPads) So, final answer: iOS 16 is not supported on the iPhone 7 Plus, only iOS 15.8

You aren't writing Apple here on this user to user only forum. But even if you did, they COULD NOT grant your request. The iPhone models you listed lack the hardware required to run iOS 16, so it is NOT POSSIBLE to give it to you. If you need a higher level iOS version at this point, your ONLY option is purchase a newer, more modern iPhone.

It is impossible for your iPhone 7 to install iOS 16. This answer has now been repeated multiple times on the 22 pages of this thread

If you want to install iOS 16, you will need to have an iPhone 8 or higher model.
