How can I change the default alarm sound when I ask Siri to make an alarm for me?

I am facing the same issue where the default alarm tone is not changing

I don’t know of anyone mentioned it, but this functionality was originally working exactly the way we want it, and through many versions of iOS. One of the recent updates removed this basic feature. No good.

This is exactly what happened to me. Set a Siri alarm, and it was at a time I’ve never set before, and it sounded with a god-awful alarm tone.

so since I had to scroll to find it, and there were hundreds, I asked Siri to delete all alarms.

now all alarms go off with that awful alarm tone.

setting an alarm by “touch” correctly uses the last chosen sound. Siri always uses the “default” sound, but there is no way to change the default! (Anymore, I think in the last Siri used the same “default” as touch)

I see even the timer (which I would suspect is used much less than the alarm for most people) has a place right there on the timer screen to set a default sound for it.

The default sound radar sucks. Can’t believe I have to manually change default every time I set alarm what is this world coming to?

mine works, each alarm that i set is now the song i choose to wake up to. it wasn’t in the settings, i cleared all alarms and the song is attached to each new alarm set.

If you buy a new alarm sound in the iTunes Store, it will ask if you want to “set as default ringtone”. Most of them are only 99p!

How can I change my default alarm tone.
