Timer keeps reverting back to the default radial

When I set the timer I can set what sound I want but I have to change it for every timer I set. I can’t get it to stay on the sound I choose like it used to before iso 17. When I ask Siri to set a timer it will always be Radial. It says default on the radial sound is there a way to change the default?

Hi there Etteloc1,

You'll want to start by making sure your iPhone is updated to iOS 17.0.3. You can check the currently installed version by going to Settings > General > About > Software Version. If needed, learn how to update here: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

To keep the same tone for timers, you can set a custom timer and give it a label, then select the tone you want next to 'When Timer ends'. Learn more about how that works here: Use multiple timers in Clock on iPhone - Apple Support

If this behavior persists, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support directly for further assistance. They're best-equipped to take a closer look at the issue and provide some additional guidance. This link will help you get started: Apple Support

Take care.
