When I set the timer I can set what sound I want but I have to change it for every timer I set. I can’t get it to stay on the sound I choose like it used to before iso 17. When I ask Siri to set a timer it will always be Radial. It says default on the radial sound is there a way to change the default?

I'm experiencing the same problem with the timer sound reverting back to the radial default tone. I think that Apple will need to fix this admittedly minor, but still annoying, bug in a future update.
Thank you for your reply. I do have the latest update. I can set an individual timer to what I want. But before the iso 17 update I didn’t have to keep setting the ring tone every time I made a new timer. I guess what I really want to do is change the default ring tone to what I want it to be. Not the radial.
I also experienced this problem. Finally when reporting it, I realized they introduced MULTIPLE TIMERS.
I didn’t see them in HORIZONTAL mode.
Previously used timers and actions are available for reuse by scrolling.
You can also “name” your timers, so you and SIRI can identify them.
