I bought a new iphone 14 pro 2 days ago from a trusted seller, but when i checked the coverage date on apple site it says the phone was purchased 1 January 1985 and the coverage expired, can you please tell me what that means ?

Beyond the fact that the phone is obviously not new, and "trusted seller" may not be applicable in this case, no. We are other end users, not Apple.
A 1985 purchase date is obviously not right because the first iPhone did not ship until Summer 2007.
I suggest you return the phone to the seller for a full refund, and only buy the next one from a proper Apple Store or authorized reseller:

Im the first one who activated the phone, and in my country we dont have apple stores the seller told me the phone from canada, I'm just want to know if theres any problem could happen like hardware problems or the phone will stop running, i dont need apple warranty
