Why is my new iPhone showing coverage expired when warranty is still valid?

I have bought 15 pro max on may 10th 2024 but in settings it shows coverage expired but in Apple Support app it shows warranty till may 3 2025

If you just purchased its on May 10th 2024 then it would have a 1 year limited warranty automatically.


If there's a discrepancy with your warranty status, make sure you keep your original receipt in case any issues come later.


I'd call Apple and have them double check it on their end because they can update it but you'd have to provide the original receipt.
