i bought my iphone 15 today but it says that my coverage is expired and the model number starts with 5

The phone is not "new".
Based on the "5" in the model number, this indicates that the phone was refurbished by a 3rd party company.....not Apple......so it probably does not have any warranty at all.
If the store told you that the phone was new, I would ask for a refund.

It's likely you purchased a gray market phone. Possibly even a stolen device or one that was replaced as defective and not returned to Apple as required.
From the model number the phone was bought from singapore and it can’t be stolen bc i opened the box first time and in the batterie section it says first use in august 2024 and manufacture date in march 2024

From a store bc i in my contry there is no apple stores

Yes i talk to him he was shocked he told me to get back to change it bc the other iphone 15 he sold were good as they should be
