iOS 17.0.3 Issues

Hey all! I’ve been having a lot of issues on iOS 17.0.3. For reference I have a iPhone 11 and did not have any of these issues on previous iterations of iOS 17. I’ll list some of the issues below.

• Unresponse touch screen (lag and delays)

• Apps unresponsive (freezing & crashing)

• Keyboard lag (I’ll start typing but it takes the phone a few seconds to catch up)

• Stutter when opening app (when I’m switching between apps, there’s a split second of stutter - I want to say this existed in iOS 15 or 16?)

• Paste/select menu does not always pop up… I have to keep pressing on the screen to get the prompt

Anyone else having issues? Feel free to share any other issues you’ve come across. Thanks!

Common Reports:

Everything you've mentioned is commonly reported for iOS17.0.3, particularly after the update it installed on an iPhone 14 or iPhone 15. So, you'll have to wait it out, until more updates are provided...

Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary

So are you officially speaking on behalf of Apple? "Just have to wait it out", "do your part" are neither solutions to the problems being caused nor are they what we, the consumers, want to hear. I mean, as the consumer isn't "our part" to purchase the product and/or service followed by using/consuming said product and/or service?

This all said, since I installed latest update my iPhone 14 is just restarting over and over and I'm lucky If I get 10 minutes of usage before it does. Simply put, this is unacceptable and makes for a poor, poor experience.
