iPhone 15 Pro / Max camera blurry and won't focus

a focus issue. Its picture quality has been horrible. Also if you seek help from the service center they try to tell you that it's in your head not the phone.

Have been complaining since October to the Apple team but it seems they are over it once they get paid.

Same. I am a country artist. I thought I upgraded to Apple’s best iPhone camera to take studio quality photos outdoors but this expensive garbage is working too hard to be artsy without my input & focusing on everything except for the subject I want focused and tapping on the subject does nothing. UPSET.

My husband and I upgraded our phones a week ago from the iPhone 12 Pro to the iPhone 15 Pro Max because of its camera capabilities. However, we are extremely disappointed as both cameras are consistently producing blurry and grainy pictures . We've tried adjusting all the camera settings and tips, but nothing seems to work. We upgraded our phones in preparation for our daughter's upcoming birthday, hoping to capture some great photos. I'm frustrated and losing trust in the iPhone brand. Whenever we take pictures, the skin texture looks unnatural, almost like a hard surface. Surprisingly, my three-year-old iPhone 12 Pro still delivers better pictures with natural skin texture.

Is there any way we can return these phones?

Same here! You try to focus on, say, a moth on a window—something my previous iPhone cameras could do beautifully—and it almost gets there…and then goes poof and hops to another part of the screen. So I try to focus there, and poof, it hops to another part of the screen, like the lenses are fighting with each other.

For macro close-ups, which was my major use too, it is utterly useless.

Come on, Apple. This is unacceptable.

Same, I am so upset all the pics come out blurry. And when I went in the Apple Store the 15 pro max’s they have on display, displayed quality pics. I am so disappointed and this would be the last time I purchase from Apple. They are a scam. The picture quality is so poor I can’t believe it.

I too am annoyed that NO videos are in focus. Might have to buy a real camera (non APPLE) for videos because I still owe for this "valuable" piece of metal and plastic. Not happy, and yes, trying all tricks mentioned in this stream.

After so many years I decided to buy the best and expensive model of iPhone and I regret it. It is very disturbing bug. It makes a camera feature in a lot of applications useless. I think applications companies should also make pressure on apple, to make them resolve this problem and officially recognize it.

I’m freaking out. I switched from 13 pro to samsung s22+ and now 15promax with the Total belief the FB livestream would be better. And it was a Nightmare.

This had no effect to correct the blur on my 15 pro.

is it that the apps don’t have access to the new camera sdk? Or the apps don’t want to use it?
