Lyrics not displayed on Apple Music post iOS 17 update

This is not the case, it actually says lyrics are available, I actually downloaded one that says, with lyrics in Apple Music and the lyrics still do not appear, I also can no longer download. Any music, I tap the download icon it spins a moment and stops not downloading anything. I can download the same music on my iPads that have not been updated.

I found it right where you said. 😁 I do wish they would put it back where it was though rather than have the “share lyrics”. “Share lyrics” would be better placed in the “view credits” section in my opinion since most people share lyrics way less than view lyrics. Thank for sharing the tip to “View Credits”. I’ve been wondering for weeks what happened to the “share Apple lyrics” feature but figured it was the last update to my phone that caused the “share lyrics” feature to suddenly disappear.

Maybe someone on the Apple Release teams should include those type of tips in their Release Bulletins in user friendly language so it stands out. If they did, I apologize for missing it, but I don’t remember reading anything pertaining to lyrics feature being relocated.

I regret so much downloading iOS 17.3.1 because now in Apple Music the view lyrics you have to do an extra step to view them. Before you could copy and paste the lyrics for translation purposes but now they took that away too. What a bummer. Another nail in the coffin. I am so upset, I was using iOS 15.2 where I was able to copy and paste the lyrics of a song now in iOS 17.3.1 you can only view the lyrics but you can’t copy and paste it any more

I’m having the same issue. We checked a song on another phone and it worked fine, so is it something in settings that may have changed?

This bubble feature is something new that was just implemented in the most recent iOS 17 update. Lyrics were previously moved and took some effort to find but this newest update now has the bubble making it easier but not everyone has updated yet.

I have found the full lyrics on Apple Music after I updated my IOS to 17. It was such a bummer that I couldn’t access the Full Lyrics til you came along. Thank you again Aloha 🤙🏽

For everyone on here saying click on “view full credits” , that does not work. Maybe for some songs but not for the one I’m trying to look up (“Bed of Lies” by Nicki Minaj and Skylar Grey”) which you would think would be a song that would have the lyrics up normally .. but nope. Now what ????? Wtf

OK, so not only do you need an extra step to see the lyrics on the songs in Apple Music but they don’t scroll along with the music anymore. Is there a way to fix this or should I cancel my subscription and move to Spotify like others? Thanks!

Lame. So now suddenly there's no longer access to lyrics for a given song? That was a big feature of Apple Music for me. I might cancel now and move to Spotify bc this change is making Apple Music not worth my money. His disappointing and WHY??
