I’m experiencing the same issue - multiple devices on iOS 17.1.1 and iPhone 14s and 15s. In my case, the same behavior is encountered when using native Apple mail client configured with an exchange account.

no notifications, and you have to manually pull down to update/check for new mail.

Apple support didn’t have any options other then to use imap/pop.

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities SunnyMak,

How messages are delivered, and when you receive the notification for them, may be dependent on the email client settings, specifically if the account is set to push messages to the device.

You can find an explanation and information on this as it relates to the iCloud Mail, here:

If you need help sending or receiving mail on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
1. Check your Internet connection. Open apple.com in Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
2. To see if you can receive mail for your iCloud email on another device, go to iCloud.com on a Mac or PC.
3. Make sure that you turned on Mail in Settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Tap Settings > [your name] > iCloud and turn on Mail.
4. Make sure that new data is pushed to your device automatically. In iOS 14 or later, tap Settings > Mail > Accounts > Fetch New Data, then turn on Push. In iOS 13 or earlier, tap Settings > Passwords & Accounts > Fetch New Data, then turn on Push.
* Send an email to your account to see if Push is working.
* In Fetch New Data, tap your iCloud account and turn on Push. You can only use Push with one account at a time.
5: Turn your device off and back on.
6: If you still can't send or receive mail, turn off the settings in steps 3 and 4, restart your device, then turn them back on.

We hope this helps!

I don’t know if someone fixed something in the back end, but I was able to get my outlook notifications/banners working after a full system reset, and then a test push notifications.

(For reference, iPhone 15 Pro Max on iOS 17.1.1 and Outlook version 4.2344.0)

settings / General / Transfer or Reset iPhone / Reset / Reset All Settings

… then after connecting to wifi etc again,

Outlook / Menu / Question Mark / Test Push Notifications

… And then do a quick test and email to confirm it works.

I don’t know if this will work for anybody, but if you had exhausted all the other options like I did, maybe this might work!

I still don’t understand what is happening.

can you please tell me exactly what to do?

How can I do this? I am not getting any options to approve my phone to send push notifications. How to restart the setting app? Also I do have a send push notifications button in outlook app > help & feedback. But when I click on that button the app got closed in the background and nothing happens.

The problem is iPhone 14 cannot prompt Outlook Notifications, but sms and Teams are working.

all the notification setting are enabled. It has too open the Outlook app and update

emails manually. Also, it is unable to test push notifications by "Test push notifications.

I reset and restalled the Outlook and restart the iPhone many times still not work.
