iPhone 15 front camera issues

yeah this is pure evil and honestly pathetic of apple how dare they? Such a blaringly bad, basic issue. How do we get them to change this pathetic problem ?

My front pictures quality is very bad, my face looks smoky or darker than my normal skin tone. My iPhone 8 takes better pictures. Disappointed.

This is my first iPhone and I didn’t expect the experience would be this bad. The front camera is worthless. I have an Android phone of Realme 11 pro 5g+ and it takes spectacular selfie. Whereas this $854 iPhone 15 is nothing. I’m really disappointed. No matter how much I tried altering things in the settings, nothing changed that much. Apple really should pay attention to this huge issue.

I am experiencing the same issue. I upgraded from the iPhone 12 Pro to the iPhone 15 Pro Max a week ago, and am highly disappointed in the front-facing camera processing. I have adjusted many settings and played with it, but the photos come out darker, grainier, and duller than before the photos are taken. When I screenshot the photo about to be taken vs taking the photo, it is a world of a difference. Taking this to the Apple Store tonight and likely returning this phone for a google pixel or Samsung.

I could not agree more. I am in total SHOCK with the camera quality.. my iphone 12 camera was one thousand times better. I have never regretted a purchase so much in my life. Really hope this gets fixed asap or we get our money back.

me too I am very disappointed with the quality whether before or after taking the photo but after capturing the picture looks a lot worse too like a cheap fake phone unlike any previous Iphone camera this is worse beyond imagination

Same issue here… just bought a new iPhone 15 pro max. When I open the front camera the quality looks great and when I take a selfie the quality is terrible. My face looks grainy and smoky, even the picture was taken in daylight. My old iPhone 12 Pro makes much better selfies. Apple, please address the issue and fix it 😢

THIS!!!! I am so upset that I upgraded to the 15! Upgraded isn’t even the word I would use! The camera is awful the phone glitches CONSTANTLY! My 12 was a thousand times better!!! I feel like I threw my money in the trash!

I came here looking for solutions and it looks like it’s a common thing! Although I must say, my hubby’s iPhone15 shows better photos than my 15Pro.

I tried the raw photos as suggested but it hasn’t done much to improve the quality.

I got mine this week. Honestly, I had high expectations on this phone. It cost me around 900 bucks which is no joke. My iPhone SE had a better selfie camera. Apple please work on this. Drop a software update or anything.

Same here. I recently switched from 12 to 15. I thought to upgrade to 15 for better quality pictures. But I’m getting worst pictures. It looks like these pictures were taken with 2MP camera. I made a mistake by exchanging my iPhone 12.

Worst iphone ever! My iPhone 15 has poor sound quality(tinny) when talking on the phone. Does anyone else have this issue?

I understand Apple employees have to meet deadlines to bring new products to market but don’t they have quality control anymore?

Same here! I just got the 15 and my iPhone 11s camera is much better. The 15s camera (front & back) is grainy and just really bad. I’m really disappointed fr. Apple needs to fix this immediately.
