Swiping Down in iMessage
Hello,
I am hoping someone can tell me if it’s possible to disable this setting; when I receive a message in iMessage, I attempt to swipe down to show more notifications, but I must be swiping from some other part of the top of the screen by mistake sometimes because it begins to record a voice note as a reply. This only seems to happen when the message is first opened, because I have tried to recreate this after stopping and canceling the voice note reply and I am unable to do so until a new messages comes in.
so the flow is:
- click on new message notification
- opens the message in iMessage
- (presumably) accidentally swiping down incorrectly
- voice note starts recording as a reply to the message
- i cancel the recording and delete it from the reply field
- attempt and fail to swipe down to recreate this to try and identify where I am swiping
- repeat when a new message notification comes in
