Default system fonts replacing custom fonts on websites when browsing with Firefox

Is there a fix for problems with fonts on websites after upgrading to Monterey? I'm seeing Times New Roman where it used to be easily readable font, and when using Firefox, some websites aren't displaying correctly at all.

I found a strange issue - in font book app, all fonts under web were duplicated. When I opened one copy, got a pop up that said there was an error (or maybe conflict, don’t remember) & asked me if I wanted to resolve manually or automatically. I selected auto & it disabled extra copy of font. Affected every font & variation (bold, italic, etc) in web library. Websites are acting better now. Had to fix each font individually though.
