I use AirTags on my dogs collars in the chance they were to ever go missing from my yard or break free from their leash. Being able for both my partner and I to track them would be most helpful to relocate them quickly. Is it possible for 2 separate iPhones to have acccess to the AirTags without the annoyance of have to have my partner sign I to My iCloud. After all we share the same apple family sharing plan.

FYI: Airtags generally do not perform well for tracking pets as the pet must be quite close to another telaying I phone to have the location reported. Many “loose” dogs run AWAY from strangers; obviously your own environment and pet behavior might result in different performance.
Also, when the dogs are alone w/o you and your device nearby, the tags will beep when moved. This can negatively impact an animal’s well being.

You simply gave an opinion on use of air tags on dog collars. You did not answer if an AirTag can be tracked by 2 different devises.
