Is it possible to change an Apple Gift card to a different country?

My brother sent me an apple gift card. I tried to redeem it but it says, ‘This code must be used in a U.S storefront.’

I need help finding how to change it to naira, or get it refunded to him because it’s of no use to me if I can’t use it in Nigeria.

MrHoffman’s post, directly above yours , is still accurate. Gift cards are nonrefundable and nontransferable and restricted to country of purchase.

Gift Cards are always country-specific.

To discuss a refund where that is required by law (in the US), contact Apple.
