My iPhone 15 Pro Max intermittently disconnects from 5G Ghz Wifi

Mine does it as well after 17.4.1 and I’m on iPhone 15 pro max.

I’m having the same issue with iPhone 13 iOS 17.4.1 - didn’t realise this was happening until I saw the huge amount of data I’ve used this month compared to previous months!

Same here. iPhone 13 Mini/17.4.1. Was absolutely fine prior to this.

I have the same thing on both my iPhones - Xs and 13 mini. Also my wife's iPhone 14 Pro Max doing the same thing from time to time. They all have 17.4.1, seems like a software problem to me.

Disabling VPN does nothing, rebooting does nothing, forget this network and reconnect does nothing, rebooting routers does nothing.

mine Had resolved but when I updated to 17.5 it started back again. The WiFi keeps disconnecting & I have to keep entering the password.

It’s 2024 and I feel like I’m back in 1984 kicking our TV (in this case my Apple devices including Apple TV) to get shows to play back again. I’m experiencing this in my iPads, IPhones and Apple TV.

It’s ridiculous that Apple hasn’t addressed this given how common the problem is.

I’m having these issues as well, WiFi keeps disconnecting. I’m the only one in the house this happens to, so I know for a fact it’s not my internet.

On iPhone 15 Pro Max you can disable Wifi 6E mode in your wifi settings. That fixed my issue

So if you delete your VPN how

are you supposed to use a VPN that you subscribe to??. I have a VPN I use on my iPhone when I connect to public wifi.

Deleting VPN did not work for me (iphone 12 pro max)

Mine keeps disconnecting and/or randomly going to airplane mode. It happens not just at home but also when I’m out and about.
