AGRESSIVE DISPLAY MACBOOK AIR 15"

Hello. I will upload photo although it's not that good visible huge difference betweeen 10 years old macbook pro and new macbook air 15" they have both same settings when it comes to brighness(max) ,resolution, contrast, color scheme, true tone is off pn both. 10 years old macbook has much better "light" its not so agressive to the eyes. new one after short period of time my eyes hurt and have headache. With old macbook i can look for 8 hours into and dont have such problems. it looks like they forgot to apply some filter on the screen which would reduce that unpleasant sharp light which exhausts eyes. what are your thoughts on this?

i dont see option of refresh rate on internal lcd display on this air 15" inch macbook. is there a reason why i can't force it to 60Hz? i use quartz debug tool and it is almost contantly on 30Hz. as I have on work computer and old mac always 60hz may this be a reason for characters "running away" or that my vision becomes blurred after I look at this display on this macbook air??
