CarPlay iPhone pro max

Just received my 15 Pro Max. Which rendered my car play useless in F150. On support with Ford for an hour online to make sure pickup software was up to date. Works with wife’s iPhone 14. But not with my 15. Is this a C cord issue or CarPlay isn’t compatible with the new 15? Considering going back to 14 and sending 15 back. Any ideas?

CarPlay accessory not supported after update iPhone 16 Pro Frustrated reading all the posts about this going back for years. Never had a problem connecting my iPhone 16 Pro to my Honda Fit with a USB cable until my first software update. I have hard rebooted the phone and the car's audio system multiple times. I have deleted the car from CarPlay and reconnected via Bluetooth. Bluetooth connection still works fine, unfortunately my 2018 car does not support wireless CarPlay. I have tried a new USB cable. Please help - and tell me that Apple is working on a fix for this recurring problem.

What cord works to connect iPhone to CarPlay device? I recently had an Apple CarPlay device added to my vehicle. However, I haven't had much success with the cords that I tried to connect my phone to the device with. I ordered a few from Amazon, because I wanted a black cord to be less obtrusive on the dashboard. Two different ones didn't work at all or worked so sporadically that it was a joke. The one I have now was working fine but now is giving me an error message about overcurrent caution on USB. Can someone recommend a reliable cord?

Some USB A to USB C cords do not support data transfer and will only charge. I picked a working one up from Amazon basics for around £5 and it works perfectly.
