Notice that after Sonoma 14.0 upgrade I hear the iMac's Vent operating and the iMac's back is hot.
Didn't change or add any now software ...
Only issue is wallpaper disappear after restart.
Any advice will be appreciated.

I have the same problem. What I will say is no problem before Sonoma, problem after installing Sonoma.
Try to reinstall Sonoma , leave the Mac a few hours to finish installation.

I did the system reinstall and that fixed the over heating problem as well as a few other odd issues that were occurring. Thanks for the suggestion @rony-z.
