MacOS: Classroom students showing as being offline

Last year our Apple Classroom integration worked well. With our only major change being moving to Ventura we have found that this year our Classroom functions are not working reliably at all. The primary issues is that students will show up as being "offline" even though they are online. They are setup through the MDM to be automatically enrolled in their teacher's classes, and this all works, except that it works in haphazard way, with many students for any teacher showing up as offline even when on their laptops. To rectify this a student must only open their System Settings and click on Classroom. They don't need to login (managed Apple IDs are already in use and working), re-enter a password, click on the class in question, or do anything beyond those two steps: Open System Setting, Click on Classroom. Is anyone else seeing this under Ventura? We have not changed MDMs (using Mosyle) or Classroom setting on Mosyle. We have made no major infrastructure changes; the only variable I can pick out specifically at this point is the Monterey to Ventura upgrade? Anyone have a solution? Thank you!
