Ringer volume low after updating iOS 17 on iPhone

iOS 17 finally provided some new text/notification tones that were long overdue. I like a lot of them but they seem to be very quiet. I have the ringer volume set to max but can barely hear it when I get a text or email. I also use a Blink camera system for my home and even the default sound for motion detection can barely be heard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

For people who struggle with this issue and haven't found a solution, this worked for me :

in Setting->Accessibility->Audio & Visual there is a slider called 'Balance'. My friend had probably attempted to turn up her volume by putting this slider all the way to the right, thinking it was a volume slider. When I put it back in the middle where it belongs, her ringtone went back to normal volume.

I see I am not the only one going through this problem with iOS 17 update on volume being TOO low on texts/ring tones. I am hearing impaired so these tones are useless. Even the classic sounds are way to low. Apple, you need to fix this ASAP, please! Need tones and volume that can be HEARD! Missing texts and calls because I can't hear them now even with volume on high.

Frustrated!!!
