My phone is fixed! I went to the Genius Bar a few days ago and they were stumped and couldn’t help me. I scheduled a call with Apple support and as part of their normal troubleshooting they reset my connection to the iMessage server on their side and had me restart my phone. It instantly started working. If you’re having problems, I suggest you schedule a phone call with Apple support. They have more robust troubleshooting systems an additional access than the in-store folks do.

iMessage is working on a few contacts but not all, now.
me too! how many people need to have the same problem for them to patch?? 😵💫 what happens to all my stuff when doing the network reset?

What has to happen for Apple to wake up and take notice that a multitude of iOS users are unable to access iMessage on their iPhones???
Yesterday I went to the PHX Apple Store & 1 of their techs helped me delete some old unnecessary junk! Problem solved! PTL❣️👍🏼🙏🇮🇱✌🏼

Both Apple Watch and iPhone are functioning perfectly now, so go & “git er dun!”

Thank you it just so happens it happened when I updated both iPhone 15 and iPad to 17.1. I will try to call to see what they say. If iPad gets fixed I will call about iPhone. Thank you.
