After my iPhone 15 Pro upgraded to 17.1 yesterday, my phone now charges for 10 seconds than stops charging in my wireless car charger. Had no issues prior to the 17.1 update with the phone in the car. Have tested two home wireless charging pads and they work properly and don’t stop charging.

Common issue that was corrected with the iOS 17.2 update. Confirm that you are running the latest update.
My iPhone 14 Pro worked with my 3rd party wireless charger for over two months, then stopped charging around my iOS 17 update. I removed my cover, changed power supplies twice, to no avail.
the identical charger was used with my previous iPhone 12 without any issue.
I must admit that I had to lay the phone centered on the charger, but it was was not difficult even in the dark getting into bed.
The only difference is the iOS version that happened recently.
COME ON APPLE, INVESTIGATE AND PUSH OUT THE PATCH SOON!
Agree on no charging in Telluride either. I have an XR iPhone which charged fine in my 2023 Kia Telluride SX x-line and after iOS upgrade to 17.1 will not charge at all! Phone still charges fine on Samsung wireless home charger so this is most definitely a phone/car charger issue and it needs to be addressed post haste!
The Buick dealer worked on this issue for 3 hours… Everything checked out ok on the vehicle… Issue seems isolated to iPhone 15’s with ios17 or higher… Apple Support is ZERO help… Spent a lot of cash on a crap Apple product with zero support… Upgraded to iOS17.3 over a week ago and same issue and nothing new from Apple…
Maybe if we all report it to Apple they’ll fix it! They did fix the same issue in BMW’s in 17.1.1
Either Apple needs to acknowledge the issue or maybe GM can send out a firmware update. GM has more to gain getting this fixed.
Agreed. It’s aggravating and annoying that this is happening but you have to report it to Apple. It was actually the BMW fix, iOS 17.1.1 that caused all this.
I am having same issue with iPhone 15 and using wireless charging in Chevrolet Bolt EUV (2023). I "think" it worked when I first got the iPhone with iOS 17, but now it is on iOS 17.1 and it shows charging for a few seconds on the CarPlay screen, then stops. Updated today to iOS 17.1.1 but no change. My wife's iPhone 13 Pro charges just fine, though it is still on iOS 16.x. I have submitted bug report as well.
Per problems with wireless charging, I also noticed after the 17.1 update that my iPhone XR will no longer charge in my 2023 Telluride SX. Charged fine before but not now. Please fix in an update as hate having to go back to old school cord again!
The last two iOS updates have not fixed my wireless car charger issue. Ever since I updated to iOS 17.1 I can no longer use my wireless car charger in my 2022 Chevy Silverado. I am using an iPhone 13 pro max. Dealer has tested the wireless car charger and it works fine in the shop. I have tried it with two other iPhones which also didn’t work, however, my friend’s Android phone did work flawlessly when I tested it today. I have updated to iOS 17.2.1 today and this has not fixed the issue.
Got the same issue with the same phone. I’m using the integrated wireless phone charger in my Bolt EUV 2023. This was working perfectly before the update… I’ve filled a bug report, hoping it helps.

Tried an iPhone SE that was also upgraded to 17.1, had no issues in the car (GM brand) charging wirelessly.
Maybe it’s a iPhone 15 thing. Was working fine on 2023 GMC, updated to 17.1, stopped working.
Complain to Apple. It’s the only way it will get fixed
