While with widgets on lock screen i turn on my iphone 15 then it takes around 1-2sec to open. Kindly provide solution.

My phone suddenly stopped doing this and i have not force restarted last 3 days cause i think i found the issue. Apple still need to fix it ,but i found strange interaction between whats on your lock screen and this issue. I change new wallpaper pretty often and when i am not using dept effect it fixes it for good. Try to set new wallpaper even if its the same without dept effect from lock screen. I switched dept effect off and i dont have this issue. If i now try to have a wallpaper with dept effect issue reappears.
Since I updated my iphone 15 pro to IOS17.1, I noticed that when I tap the locked screen or pick up the phone, the screen takes a while to wake up. Turning off the device or restarting it only improves the problem for a few hours. Nothing works, I hope they improve this quickly, it's very annoying
I have the same bug as well and I just got my new iPhone 15pro max. When my screen dimmers and I tap the screen to wake it up, it takes a 1-2 seconds to light up. As well as when it’s in the Lock Screen. And it happens here and there. So it’s a iOS bug issue.
Any iOS update that you install, takes a couple of days to settle in your phone. So you won’t notice a different right away just miner bugs caused by the iOS working in the background. I hope Apple fixes the minor hiccups and we don’t experience the same issues we did with the iPhone 14 Pros.
Yea I recently restarted my phone for the first time not force restart. I got it on November 1st so I decided to restart it so the phone and iOS can refresh itself and now my message notification is having issues lol where it doesn’t ring nor does the screen light up sometimes when I get a message. So many weird bugs and this happen also to my iPhone 14 Pro Max so it’s iOS bugs
It IS most definitely a bug that has been present since ios 16. That user is thinking a temporary fix is a permanent fix.
Maybe apple will finally see this thread since it’s affecting their flagship models as well.
Captured a video comparing wakeup of a 5 year old old SE 1st gen on iOS 15.7 vs my 13 pro on 17.1.2 showing the issue which has been present since iOS 16 and reported to apple multiple times.

No solution until apple decides to recognise and fix this issue. It’s ridiculous that it is still present after more than a year.
I am facing the same issue, restarting the device fixes this issue for 1-2 hours.. but then this issue reappears.
I switched to iPhone 15 after 12 years on Android, and so far my experience on iPhone has been quite buggy compared to the Android world. Hoping a fix soon
I went from 14 pro to S23 ultra for a while and now i got back to 15 pro again, this felt really bad , like this phone while so powerful it feels so much worse than android in terms of speed and response time that i hope this is fixable cause lately ios software is kinda joke. Especially the new call screen if poster card is not made for a given contant... and i wont manually do 1400 contacts.. its getting very strange and it makes me wonder who is working for apple on design team lately , but the late screen and touch response is awful compared to competition for sure.
My OS and my apps are clean installed and up to date and i still have the issue.
Force restart fix it just for few hours and after that it again takes whole 2 seconds between press and screen wake … it is just horrible when u know how it should be :/
