Saving to Desktop on an ipad

I saved a pdf document to desktop on an ipad (it's an automatic location using Filemaker Pro) but I cannot find the document. Can anyone help? thanks

ios26 compatibility with adobe and pdf files. Since upgrading to ios26 on my iPad Pro 11 inch 4th generation I have lost the functionality to swipe right to move from one .pdf file to the next within the same folder. Now I have to close the file and manually open the next rather than just swipe. How can I restore that functionality, or is it gone forever?

The iPad doesn't have a desktop. It might be in the Files app, in the section called "On My iPad"?
