I am going to have to be honest with this purchase and say I am not happy with this laptop. I debated the Macbook Pro or this . I find it small to handle for my needs. More that that , the display resolution is often very dark to watch any movies on Netflix or Apple TV.
Is there a solution to this?
I have changed it to light in settings and turned off the auto so I am at a loss.

Return the computer and get the one that better meets your needs.

Time for return has past. You only have 14 days to initiate a return. There is nothing you can do to increase the size of the display except maybe try using an external monitor.
I was able to increase fonts etc to help . There is a setting for larger format.
I am reading that many of us have issues with the Apple TV app being very dark and difficulty in watching videos.
I paid a lot to be unhappy.
Apparently you cannot ..I purchased this in May of this year. I have had Apple products for well over 20 years and this is the first one I am unhappy with. The resolution is so dark.
