After installing the iOS 17.1 update, my whole environment is slower, especially browsing. Doesn’t matter if it’s Safari or Chrome. Delays, poor web performance, slow transitions between page updates…
as I use other apps, I see the lag.
Anyone else and if so, is there a good solution. I have messed with background refresh’s and motion settings but didn’t do anythIng.

I’ve experienced ridiculous lag and performance issues since updating to 17.1. Have had to restart the phone multiple times because it gets frozen on a certain apple won’t open any apps. Need an update to fix immediately.
had Super sluggish performance. Did a forced reboot and that solved it. Volume up, volume down and hold power button for about a minute until apple logo shows up.
I also have same issue of lagging and my iphone14 gets really really hot since update. Does anyone know when a fix or patch is coming.?

In my case -- problem was solved after iPad OS 17.5 update.
But it still works not so fast how it was in iPad OS 14-15
