My iPhone Xr was just updated to 17.0.3 and now I cannot share or email photos

I posted this in Photos earlier. But I now realize, this is only an iPhone problem. The MAC is fine sending and receiving photos.

I received a photo through Messages on my iPhone. I wanted. to share it to another friend on Messages. It could not be delivered to any other person on Messages. I also noticed that I cold not share the photo with my MAC. I emailed it from the phone to myself. It just sits and cannot be delivered. I took a screen shot,

thinking maybe it was in a format not liked by Apple. That also was not the case. I thought maybe a low rez jpg screenshot, but that could not go anywhere. Any ideas?

Is there a new setting I should become aware of that is different from the last system update?
