iPhone 15 Pro Max not charging

I have the same issue. Though a soft reset (vol up, vol down, hold power until it reset), seemed to solve the problem (not sure how long for as only just tried this). Currently charging via cable. I assume this is a software issue in my case. Hope it helps you too.

So I’ve just had the same problem, tried turning off and back on and also tried soft reset, nothing happened. Tried other chargers in the house nothing. Went to my car plugged it into charger in there it worked and lo and behold it also charges with the other chargers I tried in the house. I have ordered a wireless charger as back

up though.

My phone it wasn’t charging. I was trying lots of things like cleaning it everything didn’t charge so was thinking to take it to the shop to fix it but then I was thinking to go on Google and see if I can find something why is not charging and I found your comment. I just turned off my phone and then turn it on again I put it to charge and Now is working. Thank you very much.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Update: my tech-minded neighbors came to the rescue (temporarily) as they spotted right away that AT&T store sold me chargers, cable + blocks that are AT&T branded -- Not APPLE proprietary accessories --

Off to order the Apple-proprietary accessories and bet that will fix the problem!!

Meanwhile we had to make micro adjustments on the ATT chargers to get through the next fews days of medical procedures/surgery and will be returning the ATT products back to their store.

Hope this will solve my charging issues and will keep the forum posted!

Purchased the 15 pro max back in Oct 2023, just experienced the first time about the phone not being charged after plugging in the cable. Turn off the device and turn it back on, and charging works again. Will follow up if it's reoccurring.

I think it’s the cord that comes with the phone I got mine today and it would not charge, I tried diff outlets and power banks and same thing so I I put a new non Apple charge cable that I got at the the dollar store and it’s working to charge.

It’s so crazy, I didn’t the restart and it worked for my phone. I’m just so confused how this is a thing, does anyone know?

Same issue with my iphone, just restarted the phone and started to charge via cable

I made a reply about my phone not charging but apparently the usb C blocks aren't enough. I plugged my usb c cord into a power strip that has the c port on it and it works.

I also faced this issue with 15 max pro. But luckily after restarting my phone, it start working. Don’t know if it’s a software glitch or bug but I think Apple should fix it soon.

Just experience this today, woke up low battery and charge my phone. It didn’t work, tried using other outlet, adapters, and wires still. Did a hard reset, after a while it works. Hopefully not happening again 🫣

I have the same issue: 15PM

The first time, before going to bed plugged in phone into the charger, and saw it started charging, but the next day woke up with 40% left. So I think it stopped charging by itself.

Restart/reset the phone as suggested; not working.

The phone was charged using the USB-C cable through a computer port, and it worked. After this, plugging into the wall also worked.

The second time, same as above, after connecting to the computer, which started the charge, then the wall plug did not work.

--- I put the setting to 'optimized charging', I am assuming that this is a settings-related charging issue, software. Since they are showing the charge cycles for the users, I hope they fix this soon, because this is a big reliability issue.
