MS Teams no longer reads messages in CarPlay with IOS17

Teams used to read incoming messages in CarPlay. Since I updated to iOS 17 the notification shows on car display but upon touching it does not read but navigates to teams calendar. Settings for Siri and MS Teams are all enabled.

Latest version of Teams installed on my iPhone. version 5.20.1
