There is a 10MB transmission limit on email. Where is it? Can this be relaxed, even temporarily?

A company has sent an email with a link to a website which has a document I need. It is in many parts. Most transfer easily, apparently using email protocol, but three of the items are above a limt of 10MB, highest at 55MB. They do not use store and forward through my normal email provider, so apparently this limit is not out on that server. Is there a limit in Apple Mail on my Mac that I am hitting? Can it be relaxed? Where are the handles if so?

The Mail app itself does not impose such a limit. The email service provider is doing that.

For sending email messages using iCloud, refer to Mail Drop limits - Apple Support:

"If a message, including its attachments, is larger than your Internet Service Provider (ISP) limit, Mail will ask you to send the attachments using Mail Drop."

For what it's worth 55 MB is a rather unreasonable size for a message to be sent using any email service provider.
