Unresponsive Ipad I dropped it wont turn on now please help!

I dropped my iPad last night and it didn’t have its case I’ve tried rebooting it, spanking it, but nothing works! I don’t wanna get a new one because this isn’t too old. I can’t hear the charging sound but that might be bc of my volume. I can see my reflection but it won’t turn on! Please help!

Never "spank" your iPad. This will not help - and may cause internal damage.


Given your description - and confirmation that the iPad has been dropped - internal damage from the impact is likely. You would visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad. If repair is required, you will be in the best possible place to explore your available options:

Otherwise, you might consider using Apple's mail-in repair service:
