Camera warning ⚠️

Recently my camera has been lacking in certain features (will only allow 1.0-3.0 zoom vs 0.5- 3.0 etc. this seemed to correspond with a warning ⚠️ indicating that there may be unauthentic apple parts installed. Why would my iPhone 13pro which was purchased brand new and not ever needed repair now come up with the warning indicator that the camera may not have a genuine part?

I have never had to have it serviced.
