Water damage

I dropped my iPhone 12 in the toilet for 2 secs, washed it under water for a sec and dried it, switched it off and have had it under rice for 10 hours. What else can I do to revive it?

iPhone 12, iOS 16

Hello,

You can also try silica gel sachets; they will absorb the water.

Also check to see how extensive the damage is: Water and other liquid damage to iPhone or iPod isn't covered by warranty - Apple Support

Thanks for that. I have found 4 small silica sachet from my supplements and have put them in a tin air tight container. I gather I have to leave it in there for 12-24 hours? I checked the LCI (which I presumed was the port for the SIM card) and it did has not turned red which is good. Cheers.
