I have both the Apple Watch Series 6 & Apple Watch Series 7. The Series 7 watch gives a halfway alert during an Outdoor Walk however, I haven’t been able figure out how to activate the same alert on the Series 6. Both watches have the same settings turned on, so I’m assuming that feature doesn’t exist on the Series 6? Any help would be greatly appreciated…

Don't worry, it does exist. On the Workout App on your Apple Watch, you must tap on the 3 dots on the top right of the card of the activity you are about to do. Scroll all the way to the bottom of preferences, and inside the bottom of preferences there should be a tab named "Splits." Tap splits and turn on Split Alerts. Your splits should be announced now.

I figured it out… The Distance goal must be the first goal listed when you open the Outdoor Walk workout to receive halfway and completed Mileage goal alerts on the Apple watch. The following steps on the watch will enable this feature:

Thank you for replying… My Series 7 Watch gives an alert at the ¾ mile halfway point of my 1½ mile set Goal and then another alert at my 1 mile set Split. As far as I can determine, settings on both watches are the same however, the Series 6 watch does not give a halfway alert…
