iPhone 15 alarm not working

Same problem. I just switched from android to IPhone 15 Pro. I happend to me twice. My morning alarm was silent. No vibrations. But the alarm was showing on the screen. volume levels are fine. it happen Only for morning alarms. Other alarms work fine.

This really makes my first impressions of using the iPhone poor.

Same here. All my settings are on. Silent mode off. Just sleep mode. All alarms are set to sound. Volume controls fine. It only vibrates.

Get this under control. Because it’s causing me to be late to work. I even set like 4 alarms. Still ALL OF THEM only vibrate. Come on Apple. We expect better from you.

I was having the same problem as the OP and tried your suggestion … it worked, thank you very much! Since I’d not even signed up for a sleep schedule it was baffling how it even happened. Apple HAS to fix that… fortunately, found your reply right away and only went two days being late … feel sorry for anyone that has a strict schedule and may have gotten into trouble fir it at their jobs.

Happened to me this morning. Lockscreen shows alarms are off, even tho I have multiple alarms on weekdays... Woke up one hour late. Seems like the iPhone is not reliable anymore. Turning off and on iPhone does not help. iOS 17.1.1

I don't know of a reason for "iPhone alarm either goes off and does not make sound"

However "it goes off and makes sound and then the volume becomes much lower once I pick up the phone." is an Attention Aware feature. You can turn that off if desired.

It works but the volume is reliant on the ringer volume setting.

i use meditation music to sleep and now I can only play this at my alarm/ringer volume which is not good. I’m now setting several alarms as safety nets.

Apple please update this feature. My XR never had this issue.

Mine still isn’t working either and I have tried everything in the book! I’m starting to get frustrated because I just went back to using iPhone after a few years after having Samsung Galaxy phones! I am very upset with Apple right now because with this iPhone 15, I have yet to hear my alarm clock go off! I am furious and this is so ridiculous!

Just updated to 17.2 and it still doesn’t work. Does anyone know if beta works?

When will Apple fix this? I find it bizarre that Apple allows such a serious bug to persist.

Also, anyone have a good alarm to recommend that works when screen is locked? The ones I’ve tried need me to keep my phone unlocked the whole night.

I have the same issue with my iPhone 13 Pro ever since the iOS updated. At first I thought it was me and then I started testing different things. I have followed every single troubleshooting option. I have deleted and created new alarms. I have resorted it to Setting my Amazon Alexa app every day. This is absolutely ridiculous. Many of us used alarm clocks back in the day and now we rely on our cell phones because they are portable. Why should we have to download a third-party app? It makes me question Apple if they can’t fix something as simple as the alarm clock.

same here i will have a alarm set and it will go off but my others won’t even buzz make a sound nothing mind you im 20 now and i have never been to work late but i’ve cut it close bcs alarms aren’t working i didnt spend $1600 for a phone to not have the alarm work

I am so sick of this. This phone is going to get me fired. I make sure the ringer volume is max. Silence mode off. The alarm has the most obnoxious noise possible. I set like 8 of them over the span of an hour, and still no alarm! It just shows the alarm screen but makes no noise. This is going to get me fired from my job and I’ve already missed a few morning college classes. I’m just about through with my phone I need to have my alarms. I’ve just now tried removing the standby screen as per request of another user in this thread.

Effin great!! so the 15’s don’t have alarms that work right. Ot consistently. Cuz it did work before. Now it doesn’t tho And after reading Everyone’s remarks on this, sounds like a real problem. wtf, apple???? serious,,,

After purchasing a very expensive phone we should not have to become an IT professional overnight to turn off settings/turn setings back on/download free alarms that have so many pop up adds you cant set the alarm/ or purchase from the Apple store another alarm simply because of an Apple malfunction. Absurd and very frustrating as they could have or should have had a fix by now!!

Same problem here, ringer was on, volume was on, alarm was set for 7:30. I wake up confused as to why it’s so sunny and I check my phone to see my alarm hadn’t even gone off and it’s 8:30. Apple has had so many small problems since they added their new wallpaper editor but this one is just completely unacceptable. What kind of smart phone (let alone the most expensive one) doesn’t have a functional alarm system??

Got the 15 plus last week & my alarms didn’t work today. The first 3 are normal alarm tones & the last one is a song. All 4 didn’t go off today. I need these to get my 87 year-old grandmother to dialysis 3 times a week. Apple, you need to do better!
