iPhone 15 Pro bluetooth stutter when connected to a car

My iPhone 15 Pro's audio stutters when connected to my car via Bluetooth. When it is connected to my AirPods or Bluetooth speakers, it works fine. I have checked with other phones connected to my car, and they work fine. I tried resetting my phone in DFU mode, but still no luck. I had no issues with iPhone 14 on iOS 17. I guess this issue is specific to the 15 series or just my device? I see other people having the same issue with the same phone and the same car in the car community.

Lossless audio

Choose to use Apple Lossless audio.

This option is only available if you’re signed in as a subscriber to Apple Music.

I am subscriber to Apple Music. Turning off lossless option did solve my problems with streaming music, podcasts or radio via bluetooth.

If you don’t have this option, you cannot turn it off. Hence this should not be rout cause of your problem.

Overall, in my opinion the issue concern the fact that iPhone tries to send more data than actual bandwidth of the bluetooth connection.

Actual bandwidth may be lower than nominal due to interference with Wifi or other electronic equipment in your car or at home.

Bluetooth bandwidth in older iPhones may simply be lower by default than in new IPhones like 15 or 14, so it matches what your car multimedia can process.

Lowering quality of sound reduces bandwidth required to streamed via Bluetooth. Maybe check, if you can change it in settings of your apps.

Same! Its horrible with my iPhone 15 pro. Never happened with the same environments with my iPhone 12, nor my wife's iPhone 14 pro. Ridiculous that Apple can't fix this problem

Thanks for your input. However consider we paid over 1.000 euros for a phone and we need accessories its proper usage while older & cheaper iphones do their jobs 😏

Same issue with iPhone 15 pro! My previous iPhone 12 had no studder with the same devices (car, AirPods, Bluetooth speaker) but 15pro does

Hi, you faced the issue when you updated to iOS 18? Haven't you had it before?

I have this issue from iOS 17 in my iPhone 14 pro. But I never faced it in my iPhone XS which runs iOS 17.5.1
